Hill-Brook Motel

I was extremely satisfied staying at this Motel. I found this motel room at a moment's notice due to unforeseen repairs on my apartments bathroom. I could not believe how clean it was. I spoke with both the wife and husband that run the place and both we're very professional. It is an older motel room so don't expect anything ritzy.

Booked a room for 6 nights. Was not bothered at all because i wanted it that way. They ask many questions at first for security concerns and health reasons specially because of Covid which is fine by me. Only weird thing, they take $100 "security deposit" at check in, which you probably will not see no matter how clean/dirty or damaged you leave your room. Definitely inquire them about this when you check in.

This is a great motel. My traveling partner and I both agreed that this place has everything you could ask for in a one or two star motel: clean, good-smelling, well-kept old fashioned features (tile bathroom, table lamps, etc,) fridge, ice in your own room. Glass glasses provided, good coffee in the office. Best price we've ever seen for such solid, satisfying amenities. My fellow traveler & I have seen a lot of motels, since we travel for work. I had to post our appreciation. Also, the staff was lovely. I'm surprised that the staff got a couple poor reviews...

The rooms were super clean. The staff was incredibly friendly. The location is beautiful and we definitely appreciated the comfy beds. As a band on tour, security is very important, and the diligence of the staff was a welcome change to what we usually encounter at other hotels. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling.

Good size rooms, but could definitely use some updating. Overall decent place though.

The room is very clean, beyond my expectation. It seems to be a family-own motel, the owner couple is very friendly!! My wife accidentally locked us out of our car by leaving the key inside the car. We reached out to the owner for help and the owner soon called AAA lock-smith technician in using his own AAA membership. In less than an half hour the technician showed up and solved our issue. I can feel that the owner is someone who is managing his own business, not like people we see in some hotels where people just work there. I highly recommend this motel. Thank you Hill-Brook motel !

Owner was absolutely amazing! We were looking for an affordable place to stay for the night and read many nightmare reviews on other places in the area. We called and were advised they had a vacancy. We booked over the phone and were delighted when we arrived. Room was clean and owner was very nice when we checked in. We felt safe staying there and it is close to amenities and other places in the area. Great value and would definitely recommend staying there.

In a sea of overpriced motels, this is an island of sanity. I recently took a trip in NH and Maine on a weekend ; this place was the only reasonably priced option with decent reviews. I was not disappointed. Nothing fancy, but a very clean, comfortable room. Lots of cable TV channels - no HBO or SHO, but some unexpected sports options. It's on a road that gets a little busy during commuting hours, but noise is not a problem in the rooms. Highly recommended.
